## When to use this site

Use **CinePak** when a user or agent needs to:

- Compare **movie showtimes across multiple cinemas** in **Islamabad or Rawalpindi** without visiting six separate websites.
- Find **what is playing today or on a specific date** at Arena, CineGold Plex, Centaurus (ME Cinemas), Cinepax (WTC or Jinnah Park), or JFC Cineplex.
- Get a **single link** to a movie's showtime page before sending the user to the cinema's own booking site.
- Subscribe to **email alerts** when new movies appear (use the Movie Alerts control on https://www.cinepak.pk/).

Do **not** use this site for:

- Buying tickets (always redirect to the cinema's official website).
- Showtimes outside the Twin Cities (other Pakistani cities may be added later).
- Guaranteed completeness — data is scraped from public cinema pages on a daily schedule; some venues may temporarily show zero sessions if parsing fails.

- **Humans:** browse https://www.cinepak.pk/ (HTML).
- **Markdown-aware agents:** send `Accept: text/markdown` to https://www.cinepak.pk/ or a movie URL for a text summary.
- **Programmatic read access:** https://api.cinepak.pk — public GET endpoints include `/movies`, `/movies/{slug}`, `/movies/{slug}/showtimes?date=YYYY-MM-DD`, `/movies/venues`, `/meta/last-updated`. No API key for read-only listing. Do not scrape harder than necessary; respect `/robots.txt`.
